The Kroc Center provides the greater South Bend area with a unique membership opportunity to be part of a fitness facility and multisport mega complex. With over 15,000 square feet of state-of-the-art weight training equipment and cardiovascular machines, you’re sure to find the equipment needed to build muscle, lose weight, and stay fit.
Looking for help losing weight or taking your fitness to the next level? Our professional staff of certified trainers will work with you to create a personal fitness training program complete with workouts focused to achieve your fitness goals.
Trainers and Instructors
The Kroc Center is staffed with some of South Bend’s best professional trainers featuring a multitude of backgrounds and experience. Sign up for one of our many group programs or set up your consultation for personal training. Our trainers will create the custom workout and nutrition program that works for you! People of all ages and abilities, from the person looking to lose weight to the elite athlete, are encouraged to inquire.
Group Fitness Classes
Feeling unmotivated? Have you hit a fitness plateau? Tired of training on your own? Join one of the Kroc Center's exciting group fitness classes! Review our group fitness schedule and sign up or drop-in to over 20 hours of programming per week! From beginners to advanced, our group fitness classes are designed to promote a fun workout experience with professional instructors and energetic classmates. A sample of the Kroc Center’s group fitness programs include:
- Zumba
- Indoor Cycling
- 12-12-12 (Strength & Conditioning)
- Powerkick
- Yoga
- Yoga Tots & Yoga Youth
Recreation
The Kroc Center provides unique recreational activities for you and your family. Kroc recreation includes a 25’ climbing wall, a 14,000 sq. ft. gymnasium, and a 56,800 sq. ft. artificial turf outdoor playing surface.
Climbing Wall
Looking to climb to new heights? Try your skill on the climbing wall. Outfitted with 4 auto-belay systems, the Kroc climbing wall allows you to climb to the top in a safe, fun environment. Climbers can be "on-belay" and "free climb" if certified.
Gymnasium
The Kroc Center gymnasium will provide many opportunities to participate in various sports. The Kroc Gym will be open at various times for pick-up basketball, volleyball, futsal, and other activities throughout the year.
Outdoor Turf
The Kroc Center’s synthetic turf athletic field will accommodate multiple activities including soccer, flag football, ultimate Frisbee, and various other activities.
