Guidelines & Expectations

  • Members should not visit the Kroc Center if they have tested positive for COVID-19 or are showing symptoms such as: experienced fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and/or exhibited any other flu-like symptoms or respiratory issues in the last fourteen (14) days
  • While at the center, if a member begins to feel unwell or starts developing COVID-19 symptoms, they are asked to leave the building immediately
  • It is the expectation that members will sanitize their hands before entering the building; hand-sanitizing stations will be positioned at main entrances
  • It is the expectation that members will wear face masks while inside the building
    • Due to equipment spacing and for safety reasons, face masks do NOT have to be worn while working out in the fitness area
    • Members are asked to bring their own masks, however for a limited time, while supplies last, masks will be provided to members if needed
  • Members are expected to adhere to the CDC guidelines of covering their coughs and sneezes, and should wash and sanitize their hands frequently
  • Members must follow social distancing guidelines while on the Kroc Center grounds
  • Members should bring their own filled water bottles, as all water fountains and vending machines will be out of order during this time
  • Members are asked to wipe down all fitness equipment with the provided cleaning solution before and after use
  • Members are not allowed to share equipment, and are encouraged to bring their own mats
  • Members must stay out of closed areas and off of closed equipment
  • Members must adhere to all Kroc Center COVID-19 precautions and policies

Areas that are OPEN on May 26

• Fitness Center (limited access to equipment, NO group fitness classes, NO personal training)

Aquatic Center (limited access, NO hot tub, NO slide, NO zero-entry pool, NO swim lessons)

• Changing Area (family changing rooms only, NO showers will be available)

  *Showers, located on the pool deck, will be open and required before entering the pool

• Gymnasium (open for walking only, NO open-gym or equipment available)

• Family Resource Center (opens on June 1)

• Kroc Community Church (opens on May 24, NO Sunday School)

• Turf Field & Playgrounds (limited to 100 people or fewer)

• Administration Area

• Rockwall

• Group Fitness Room

• Cycle Room

• Gymnasium Loft

• Fine Arts & Education

• Kids Watch

• The Zone (Youth Activity Center)

• Banquet and Party Rooms / Events


In addition:

• NO Day Passes will be sold or able to be used

• No programs, classes or activities, with the exception of church, will be available
