Exceeds Campaign Goals

After more than four years, and despite a sputtering economy, The Salvation Army has completed their $10 million Kroc Campaign. The Salvation Army has not only completed their 10 million dollar campaign, they have exceeded it. Full Story

Final Piece of Steel- A monumental milestone has been reached for the construction of the new Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, the final structural steel beam has been in put into place. This event “Built to Love” was a great celebration and look into where the Kroc Center is heading. Click here to read more about the details of this event. Ground Breaking-The Salvation Army is breaking ground on it’s future; today The Army invited the community to help ceremonial break ground for the new Kroc Center. Layers of History- “The Salvation Army aims to bring the Westside of South Bend into the future with it’s world class facility; but as they dug up the ground for the foundation of the Kroc Center they unearthed layers of local history.
