Q: Where is the facility located?
A: The 12 acre site is located at the southwest corner of Chapin Street and Western Avenue in South Bend. The Kroc Center is conveniently located on a main East/West corridor and is easily accessible from any direction. Map

A: The Kroc Center has 110,000 square feet of building space on 12 acres.
Q: How much are membership fees?
A: The Kroc Center has a variety of membership options available, including single and family memberships, and day pass rates. The goal is to provide membership options that are affordable and perfect for you and your family’s needs. For complete membership information, please visit our membership page.
Q: Will families who can't afford the membership fees be able to use the Kroc Center facilities?
A: Absolutely! The Kroc Center will be available to everyone in the community. Those who cannot afford the full fee can apply for a scholarship. It was the intent of Joan Kroc and The Salvation Army to provide equal access to the Kroc Center to all members of the community.
Q: Do I have to be a member of The Salvation Army to be a member of the Kroc Center?
A: No! Everyone is welcome at The Kroc Center.
Q: How many employees are there?
A: The Kroc Center expects to employ over 200 individuals through full, part-time and professional services agreement opportunities. The Kroc Center will also welcome volunteers to assist in many of the programs and activities.
Q: What kinds of programs will the Kroc Center offer?
A: The Kroc Center will provide community facilities, programs, and services which encourage positive life-changing experiences for children and adults along with life enrichment and strengthening for families. Programs
Q: If I make a donation, will it be tax deductible?
A: Yes! The Salvation Army is a registered 501(c-3) non-profit. All donations are tax deductible. Secure online donation is available. Membership fees or anything for which you receive a good or service is not considered tax-deductible. Donate Online

A: The key elements of the Kroc Center are:
